Etude House – Proof 10 eye primer:
Not the best primer I’ve tried. Creases my eyeshadow within three hours! Granted, I have oily lids but really – three hours?! My ELF primer beats this by leaps and bounds, creasing at the 5 hour mark. I’m still on the hunt for a good eyeshadow primer so if you have any suggestions (for extra oily lids) please let me know!
Skin Food – Grapefruit nail polish remover
Didn’t take an individual picture of this beauty but it’s there in the haul picture. This is my staple nail polish remover – smells delicious, effective at removing nail polish and still quite gentle on my nails! 10/10 would recommend. I always add at least one bottle of this into my cart whenever I buy something from RRS just to make sure I have a constant supply of it.
The Face Shop – Cleansing Oil Balm
The best thing since sliced bread. Removes makeup without needing to mess with a billion and one pieces of cotton pads and unclogs pores like nobody’s business, feels luxurious on application. HG material right here.
Mediheal- Lip magic patch
No individual picture of this either but it’s in the haul picture. I haven’t tried this yet but I’ve been (surprisingly) pretty addicted to lip patches! From experience, most lip patches only work for a short while but it does do a pretty good job of plumping lips.
It’s Skin – Babyface pore powder
It’s so freaking cute! Powder is milled very finely and there is no noticeable white cast when I use it. The puff is a little bit useless for application though. I use it just to stop the powder from exploding everywhere in the container.
It’s Skin – Babyface BB Cream No. 1 Moisture
More cute. BB cream is super thin and has no coverage at all for me. I bought the ‘moisture’ version and there is a healthy ‘glow’ although I’m not too keen on how ‘glowy’ it is. Feels little heavy without a setting powder. Works more like a primer.
It’s Skin – Babyface Petit blusher No. 2 Pure Lavender
Cuteness again. Normally I don’t go for purples but when going for the porcelain look, the purple blush actually makes you look paler without making you look sick. Longevity isn’t a strong point in this product. I’ll probably purchase a different purple blush in the future.
It’s Skin – Babyface Mini love eyeshadow case
This is what happens when you go online shopping at 1 AM. I thought this case came with eyeshadows but it turns out that this case is a customisable case (read: buy eyeshadow separately) so I had just purchased an empty eyeshadow case. What irks me the most is that not many online retailers sell this particular eyeshadow singles and I had to contact a friend who lives in Korea to pick up a few singles for me. 10/10 WOULD NOT BUY.
Welcos Merit – Killing me zombie CC cream
This is a CC cream but I find the texture and coverage to be more like a BB cream. The shade is ok for me and I think it would work on a lot of different people as it’s a neutral shade that would work with cool and warm toned skin. The more you blend it, the darker it gets so the shade is customisable to some degree.
Tony Moly – Delight Tony Tint No. 2 Red
It’s a sample piece I purchased (on the left) and it’s a gel/liquid type tint. The tint itself is very dark and stains very strongly. Upside is that it probably won’t wear off as quickly as other tints but downside is that if you don’t blend it quickly you could end up with a darker patch.
Tony Moly – Kiss Lover Lip Master No. 3 Sexy Red
Another sample piece I purchased (see previous picture. It’s on the right). It’s a cream type tint so while it doesn’t stain as strongly as the other tint application is more forgiving but wear time is obviously reduced.
Variety of packet samples
lets be honest, I’ll probably never make my way through any of these samples. I still have a ridiculous amount of samples to go through (even after giving away a load of them in my last giveaway). I’ll probably run another giveaway in the forseeable future!
For those interested, the shipping on this haul was $14.
