I bought this a while ago from Priceline for 50% off as I believe it was discontinued stock. It wasn’t a bad buy considering I only paid a few dollars for this and quality wise I can’t complain. This is the first quad I’ve bought from Essence (the other eyeshadow I bought was a single colour) and it is promising enough that I would purchase another quad from Essence.
Basically… It’s an eyeshadow quad with a light pink, a blue-grey, a slivery-blue and a green-blue shade.
The good stuff… Comes in a handy compact, colours are well pigmented, versatile enough to be used for day and night and the colours are fitting for the name of the quad (Sea my eyes!) as the colours do remind me of the ocean. I didn’t think I would be able to pull off the green-blue shade but it looks very nice on me when I tried to use it for the first time. It blends well and when used over a primer the colours get even more intense.
Issues… If it bothers you, the eyeshadow does smell powdery (lending it that ‘cheap’ smell) but you won’t notice it when it’s worn and the plastic casing is pretty horrible – the edges are sharp enough to ding a fresh manicure.
Swatches… The swatches were done with two-swipes (no primer) for each colour to bring out the opacity

In a Nutshell:
Love: Pigmentation is good, colours are unique, it didn’t cost much to buy (even at full price it’s very affordable), is portable
Do not love: Smells powdery, casing is cheap
Should you buy it? This particular quad is discontinued as far as I know so I don’t think you could buy it even if you wanted to. However, if any of the other quads catches your attention it is worth looking into purchasing it!
I rate it: 3.5/5
